Kennedy Round Definition:

An extensive renegotiation of multilateral tariff agreement, within the limits set by the general agreement on tariffs and trade, instigated by the late president Kennedy. It was born of the American Trade Expansion Act 1962, which sought to increase the level of international trade by asking for major reductions in tariff levels around the world.
